Flower Care

Flower Care Instructions

To help you enjoy your beautiful flowers for as long as possible, follow these simple care instructions:

1. Unpack Your Flowers

  • Carefully remove the flowers from their packaging.
  • Gently remove any protective wrapping, taking care not to damage the petals or stems.

2. Trim the Stems

  • Using sharp scissors or a knife, trim 1-2 inches off the bottom of each stem at a 45-degree angle. This increases the surface area for water absorption.
  • Repeat this step every few days to maintain water uptake.

3. Remove Lower Leaves

  • Remove any leaves that will be submerged in water. Leaves in the water can lead to bacterial growth, which can shorten the lifespan of the flowers.

4. Use a Clean Vase

  • Choose a clean vase and fill it with fresh, room-temperature water.
  • Add flower food to the water if provided. Follow the instructions on the packet for the correct amount.

5. Arrange the Flowers

  • Place the trimmed flowers in the vase, arranging them as desired.
  • Ensure the stems are submerged in water.

6. Place Appropriately

  • Display the vase in a cool location away from direct sunlight, drafts, and heat sources.
  • Avoid placing the flowers near ripening fruit, as the ethylene gas emitted can cause flowers to age faster.

7. Change Water Regularly

  • Change the water every 2-3 days, or sooner if it becomes cloudy.
  • Re-trim the stems each time you change the water to maintain freshness.

8. Monitor and Remove Wilted Flowers

  • Check the flowers daily and remove any wilted or dead flowers promptly. This helps prevent the spread of bacteria and extends the life of the remaining flowers.

By following these steps, you can ensure your flowers remain fresh and beautiful for as long as possible. Enjoy your lovely bouquet!
